Substitute Openings
We are always looking for substitute teachers. Please email an application along with your schedule of availability. Pay is $16.28/hr for assistant subs and $20/hr for AMI-trained guide substitutes.

Infant/Toddler Guide Position
The Assistant to Infancy Guide will be responsible for nurturing and supporting children in their early developmental stages, ensuring their social, emotional, and physical needs are met. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a start-up Montessori community while fostering the growth and independence of infants and toddlers.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for up to 4 children, supporting their social, emotional, and physical needs in a Montessori environment.

Document daily activities, progress, and observations for each child.

Assist in guiding children toward greater independence and developmental milestones.

Communicate with parents regarding their child’s development and well-being.
General Information:

Work schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with additional prep time from 3:00 – 3:30 PM. 180 days per year.

Competitive salary range: $36,000 – $50,000 (based on education and experience).

Paid Time Off (PTO) and retirement benefits offered.

Summers and holiday breaks off.

Child-to-staff ratio: 1:4.

Requirements:
-
An AMI Montessori diploma for Assistant to Infancy (ages 0-3), or current enrollment in an AMI training program.

Knowledge and experience to uphold AMI standards

An openness to being coached and mentored

Collaborative and cooperative skills to work as a team with an assistant and as one of three classrooms

The ability to pass a background check and obtain a current CPR/1st Aid certification

Independence and self-motivation

Positive and honest written and oral communication skills

A strong work ethic and professionalism

A deep respect and support for the whole child

A degree in an ECE-related field, or an ECE initial certificate How to
